Where do you start with skydiving? I'm not really an extreme sports person but skydiving's something I've kinda wanted to try for a few years now (was gonna do it when I was about 16 but the day got cancelled unfortunately).

I've just no idea what to do, where to go, costs, etc? Got a friend who I might be able to drag along too!

Any advice appriciated Smile

The best place to go skydiving is Spain, a tandem from 15000ft will be about 85euros, video another 25euros, pics as well another 25euros. i went out there for a full weekend and it cost £100 for flight accomodation food etc, then your jump on top.

Tandem requires an hour or so basic info and training. A static line is a good full days training but you jump on your own from about 3000ft with line attached to the aircraft that pulls your chute for you. Or there's AFF where you do about half a days training you jump from about 15000ft free fall with 2 instructors free falling with you and you pull your own chute.
